About Me

Let me introduce myself...

I am a watercolor, mixed media artist based out of Knoxville, TN and a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Go VOLS!

I am honored to be a member of both the Foothills Craft Guild and Tennessee Watercolor Society where I sell and have my original artwork on display via shows in various venues throughout East Tennessee. In additional to my art business, I also work at the fabulous Oak Ridge Art Center as a part time staff member and art teacher - Watercolor Plus classes.

My work is primarily watercolor with pen, ink and hints of pastels with roots in photography. I enjoy creating more illustrative, loose paintings of nature and it’s creatures within it. When I am not painting, I've been trying my hand at ceramic animal sculptures and underglazing images on ceramic bowls, etc. Continuing education helps hone in new skills and to stay fresh.

Upcoming Shows

The next art show I'll be attending is the 2025 Fall Foothills Craft Guild Show coming up October 31 - November 2, 2025 at the Knoxville Expo Center, Knoxville, TN.

This will be followed by the Gallery of Holiday Shops set for Thanksgiving weekend and going through the first weekend in December at the Oak Ridge Art Center, Oak Ridge, TN.

Until then, I will be in the regional art show with the Tennessee Watercolor Society this coming August 18th - September 26th at The Art Center, Athens, TN.
